Arrowhead Game Studios is working on new content that will, according to Arrowhead CEO, make you "shit your pants." This is the statement shared by Arrowhead CEO Shams Jorjani when responding to a question about what's coming for the popular PvE shooter.
Jorjani was in the official Helldivers 2 Discord when a user asked if he could "offer up anything, however small, of what's coming down the pipe" for the game. Jorjani responded quite simply with, "You'll shit your pants."
This, along with a few other bits of information, were spotted and shared by VideoGamer.
Some of the comments by Jorjani gave us a hint of what may eventually come to Helldivers 2. For instance, he mentioned that he would like to add more bladed weapons to the game. He also notes that the team is aware of community worries over content droughts. He also briefly talked about how the team handles technical debt over time.
Presently, Arrowhead is aiming for May 8th to announce their next Warbond. They also promise to share "more exciting news" shortly after that Warbond is announced.
Arrowhead did share a tease earlier this week for what's in store for Helldivers 2. In a post made to Reddit, the team shared a quick blurb about their plans and a teaser image showing the flag of Super Earth attached to a pole that looks a lot like a spear. That image was attached at the top of this article.
