A new trailer for the "modern reimagining" of Painkiller was shared today via developer Anshar Studios and Saber Interactive's 3D Realms label. The new trailer comes to us via the recently aired Galaxies Showcase and provides us with a look at the wide range of weaponry players will use to slay their demonic foes.
Painkiller is expected to launch this fall on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. The game will allow you to play solo or in a group of up to three co-op partners.
In Painkiller, you’ll unleash hell with seven bone breaking, flesh-ripping weapons. Each weapon offers primary and alternative fire modes, elemental effects such as fire, ice, electro and kinetic, and are upgradable with different abilities to provide unique bonus effects:
