  • Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Trailer Highlights the Simple Life of a Medieval Blacksmith

A glimpse into the typical day to day life in medieval times.
A medieval knight in armor riding on a horse through a forest trail. A dog trots along beside the rider. A dead body and a dead horse lay on the ground behind the knight.

A CGI trailer for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 snuck its way out yesterday without my noticing. This trailer, Live a Life Medieval, gives fans a bit of a cheeky look into what life was like in medieval times. We see main protagonist Henry and just some of his totally typical life experiences.

The trailer was created in collaboration with Platige, a "renowned visual animation studio." It also includes a "medieval-inspired cover of a rather iconic '70s track - reimagined as 15th Century Boy." The trailer embed below probably won't work due to age restrictions. If that's the case, you can just hit up YouTube to watch the trailer.

A mischievous portrayal of Henry living his best life - in a vibrant medieval world - the 30-second spot is a seamless blend of humour and grit, set against Henry embracing the highs and lows of daily life - drinking, brawling, and charming his way across Bohemia – because every day might just be his last.
The ability to preload Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 kicked off yesterday with Xbox Series X|S players being able to download the game. PlayStation 5 players will get to start their preload on February 2 at 8 AM PT. Steam and Epic players on PC will have their preloads go live on Monday, February 3 at 8 AM PT. This should give most people enough time to get the game downloaded ahead of the game's release on February 4, 2025.

Global release times for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 can be found below.
