Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will include both PvE and PvP multiplayer game modes when it launches on September 9th (the 5th for those that spend more). This week, Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive shared an extended look at both the Operations (PvE) and Eternal War (PvP) modes you can play at release.
Both modes will let you choose between six different classes: Tactical, Assault, Vanguard, Bulwark, Sniper, and Heavy. You will be able to earn Armory Data and Requisition Points that you can spend to customize your Space Marine's appearance. There will be a variety of different preset cosmetic options or you can mix and match individual armor and weapon cosmetic items.
After release, there will be new updates released that will add new multiplayer content. This includes new Operations, new PvP maps, new enemies, and new weapons. This content will be free to everyone. Those that own the Season Pass will get additional cosmetics and "Chapter heraldry through seasonal, themed DLC celebrating the many fan-favorite factions of the Warhammer 40,000 universe."
