A free demo for Tales of Kenzera: ZAU is now available via Steam. This demo includes the quality-of-life and bug fixes that have been added to the game since launch. A free trial for the game will hit PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on June 13th.
Tales of Kenzer: ZAU is an action-adventure platformer from Surgent Studios and EA Originals. Surgent Studios founder is the BAFTA-nominated actor, Abubakar Salim. You may recognize him as the voice of Bayak from Assassin's Creed Origins or Eros from Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical.
The demo/trial gives players a peek into the early moments of the game, offering a taste of its fleet-footed and fast-paced combat and traversal, and a first look at the emotional story as it begins to unfold. Defeat marauding enemies like the Roho ya Rungu and Roho ya Mtupaji, and beware of the cunning, explosive Tokoloshe. Eagle-eyed players will also discover hidden Echoes in the demo/trial, which will lend a crucial hint to the full game’s narrative framing.
