A new limited time event is live, offering some new cosmetic unlocks for players.

The Prime Time event for The Outlast Trials just went live today. Running from now through to June 18 at 10AM (ET), Prime Time will throw both Mother Gooseberry and Sergeant Coyle at players at the same time.

There is a new secondary objective for this event that tasks players with breaking televisions for additional rewards. This is also supposedly a "teaser for what's to come in The Outlast Trials." During the event, players will earn event tokens and exclusive event cosmetics. There are also some new evidence documents to find that will reveal more secrets of the Prime Time program.

Beyond this event, a new update for the base game was released. Included in the update is a new status effect: Bleeding. Mother Gooseberry's drill will now cause bleeding. Bleeding applies a damage over time effect and can be stopped with a new item, bandages. Sergeant Coyle's electric baton can now temporarily disable rigs. A balance adjustment now also reduces the spawn rate of large medicine and can now only be found in locked containers.
