LittleBigPlanet developers, Media Molecule, broke their Twitter silence today to reassure fans that they are working hard on restoring functionality to the game. They have been working on recurring server problems but you will have to wait just a little bit longer for them to be fully functional.

An update posted to Twitter earlier today says that they know fans are experiencing server issues with the game over the past several weeks. They say that they have been performing security update tests on the servers, but they are still working on "resuming the service fully as soon as (they) can." It even includes the #SaveLBP hashtag that fans have been using over the past week on Twitter.

This should be good news to fans who have found that LittleBigPlanet was suffering some server issues. These server issues made major parts of the first three LittleBigPlanet games unplayable. The servers first went down back on March 12 when developers said that they were investigating "technical issues."

LittleBigPlanet was first released way back in 2008 for the PlayStation 3.
