    Watch Dogs 2

On July 12, Ubisoft will hold their not-E3 event called Ubisoft Forward that will showcase their upcoming games and content. That event is scheduled to begin at 10:30AM (PT) with a pre-show and various free rewards. Some of the early announcements for the event seem to include a look at the recently released Trackmania, a talk about the A.I. teammates coming to Ghost Recon Breakpoint, news about Just Dance 2020 that you knew was coming, and even a "deep dive" into an easter egg from The Division 2.

One of the freebies that Ubisoft will be giving out is a free and complete copy of Watch Dogs 2! Simply log into your Uplay account any time after Ubisoft shows off Trackmania and before the end of the full show for your free game. It's just that simple. You need to log in during that fairly small window of time in order to complete the deal. Once you do, the game is yours to keep for free forever.

To those who may be curious: Watch Dogs 2 is miles better than the first game. The vastly improved driving alone makes it worth checking out if you disliked the first game for any reason. That is not even mentioning just how much more likable the main protagonist is.

Ubisoft also seems to suggest that there will be trivia questions that allow you to "win some rewards for a variety of Ubisoft titles." Though, they do not seem to indicate what those titles may be nor what the rewards will be.

Again, the pre-show begins at 11:30AM (PT). The show itself begins at noon (PT) and seems to run through to 12:45PM (PT) when the post-show is slated to begin.

The main show will go over games like Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Watch Dogs: Legion, Hyper Scape, and "other surprises." The post-show will include a deeper look at Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Speaking of which, there seems to have been some 30 minutes of Valhalla footage leaked over this past weekend. If you're looking for it, perhaps you can find it around before it's removed once more by Ubisoft copyright claims.

Ubisoft to return to Steam's "unrealistic" distribution model.

Ubisoft is returning to Steam after they took their ball and went home about two years ago. In 2019, Ubisoft decided to stop releasing their games through Steam, instead opting to sell their PC releases exclusively through Ubisoft Connect (formerly Uplay) and the Epic Games Store. In the same year, Ubisoft vice president for partnerships and revenues, Chris Early, said that Steam's distribution model was "unrealistic."...
