Looking forward to Project Morpheus PlayStation VR? You may want to rethink that plan as Sony's CEO Andrew House revealed that the headset and associated hardware will be "priced as a new gaming platform."
In speaking with Bloomberg at TGS 2015, House alluded to the price of PlayStation VR being around $400 (USD), which is about the same price as most current generation consoles.
At the Tokyo Game Show, Sony showed off ten new virtual reality titles to those in attendance. An exact price for the unit was not yet revealed. The $400 price is merely a guess by most at this point.
