Sony has, somehow, completely erased the list of all 123 winners of their PlayStation 4 Anniversary contest they held in Japan. Let's just back it up a moment here (something Sony didn't do, hey-oh!).

This contest made it so that anybody that purchased a PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, or PlayStation TV between December and January were eligible to receive a calendar with a unique code. Of all of those people, Sony selected 123 codes as the winners of the limited edition PlayStation 4 Anniversary Edition console. That's nothing to really sneeze at given that only 12,300 of those consoles exist in the world.

But, the winners are gone! The codes submitted previously are also apparently gone. What now?

Well, Sony is now asking that those who still have their calendar codes should resubmit them for the competition. If you no longer have a code, well the process is a bit more annoying and involves sending in your hardware's serial number so that Sony can cross-reference when it was purchased.

It's absolutely baffling how something like this could have happened in this day and age.
