  • Sega Finally Calling a Game 'Sonic Boom'

    This trailer for Sonic Boom has it all. Sonic. Knuckles. Tails. That pink haired friend of theirs. Rose? Is it Rose? I'm pretty sure it's Rose. It has voice acting. It's got a scene from Dune. It's also got dubstep.

    Alright, let's watch it!


    Whoa, Knuckles, what did they do to you?! At least the graphical design on some of the environments looks like a step in the right direction. Hey, this has to be better than Sonic '06, right? There's no way this can be worse than that.

    This game will be exclusive to the Nintendo Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS.

        We were both half right.

        And I don't know. It at least looks better than Sonic 06. Hard to tell without gameplay though.

          I feel like this design choice was made to appeal to a new young audience, they saw the retarded characters in kids shows and decided to go in that direction.

            Well, I haven't played a decent Sonic game in a while, but this does look interesting. Based on the name of Sonic Boom, I was hoping the video was going to contain the opening of Sonic CD.

              If you want to play a good, recent Sonic game, then you really need to try Sonic Generations. I really enjoyed it for the most part.

                Yeah I loved Generations, even the storyline was kind of cute, and I never play Sonic games for story.
