Expect to encounter some issues that have already been addressed.

On October 6, the open beta for Battlefield 2042 will begin for those who have pre-ordered the game and also for those with EA Play. Before you dive into the game, it needs to be noted that there are issues with the beta. DICE is aware of them and have already noted a fair number of them in a new posting from PartWelsh on the official EA Answers HQ page.

Last week, Activision officially revealed 2021's Call of Duty release. It's called Call of Duty: Vanguard and it takes place in an alternate history WWII setting. An alpha test for the game's multiplayer is scheduled to begin on August 27 and run through to August 29, but this is exclusive to PlayStation consoles.

EA has confirmed that Battlefield 2042 will include cross-play support. However, not all platforms will be able to play with all other platforms.

In a new Battlefield Briefing, EA made it clear that there will be two separate groups of cross-play players: One group will feature PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. The other group will include Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players.

Blizzard provided a new gameplay trailer this evening for Diablo II: Resurrected that was shared during Microsoft's Xbox Mega E3 Super Show. This new trailer says that Diablo II: Resurrected will be released on September 23, 2021 for the Xbox One and Xbox Series X. Worry not though, because it's also supposed to be released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and the Nintendo Switch at the same time.
