There will be a tasty new double XP weekend coming soon for both Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War. The increased experience gains will be earned towards player levels, weapon levels, and also the battle pass. This should be great for those that are still working their way through the second season's battle pass.
The double XP weekend begins on March 26 at 10AM (PT). It will run through the weekend and conclude on Monday, March 29 at 10AM (PT).
It seems as though this event is being held just ahead of the next big update for Cold War. This update brings the Sanitorium Fireteam map to the Outbreak Zombies mode. The zombies in Verdansk are still probably going to be roaming around. It may also be leading up to an entirely new Cold War themed Warzone map at the end of the current season. There's a lot going on and even more to come.
