Bandai Namco just released their latest action-RPG today for the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. We are of course talking about none other than Scarlett Nexus, a new action-RPG where you will be able to tackle extraterrestrial threats using psychic abilities.
You get to choose between two main protagonists, either Yuito Sumeragi or Kasane Randall. They are two new recruits to the Other Suppression Force. They are asked with harnessing their psychic abilities to take on some threatening aliens. You can play as either character, but their stories will weave together often throughout the game.
Psychic abilities aren't the only thing you can utilize, of course. There will be traditional melee weapons that you will go to battle using. The psychic abilities allow the characters to throw environmental objects at enemies during a battle. There are more abilities beyond just throwing stuff. You can set things on fire or go invisible, as a couple of examples. You will also take other OSF squad mates with you on missions. Form a deeper bond with these other squad mates in order to unlock more abilities.

In the far distant future, a psionic hormone in the human brain has granted people with extra-sensory powers, changing the world as we know it. As humanity enters this new era, deranged mutants known as Others begin to descend from the sky with a hunger for human brains. Impervious to conventional weapons, those with acute psychic abilities are Earth’s only chance to fight the onslaught from above and save humanity. Since that day psychics have been scouted for their talents and recruited to the Other Suppression Force, an elite group of fighters and our last line of defense.
