  • You Could Be Playing Splatoon Right Now

    Nintendo is conducting their first Splatoon Global Testfire right this second! If you act fast, you can download the client and hop into some games of Splatoon. These testfires will take place periodically through today and tomorrow (May 9, 2015). You can download the Splatoon demo right now from the Wii U eShop in both North America and Europe.

    This will be your only opportunity to play the game ahead of its release on May 29. The demo gives you access to four weapons and two maps. Can't play it yourself? Then check out the Nintendo Twitch page for Splatoon gameplay over these next couple of days.
    North America Schedule:
    May 8 from 8:00 - 9:00 PM PT (11:00 - Midnight ET)
    May 9 from 4:00 - 5:00 AM PT (7:00 - 8:00 AM ET)
    May 9 from Noon to 1 PM PT (3:00 - 4:00 PM ET)

        Nintendo of America (NOA) announced today that Doug Bowser will retire as the company's president and chief operating officer on December 31, 2025. Replacing him will be Devon Pritchard, "a 19-year veteran of the video game industry and long-standing member of the NOA leadership team."         Who knew that this game even still existed?

        America's Army: Proving Grounds will be shutting down on May 5 after a 20-year run. The free-to-play FPS developed and published by the United States Army will finally come to an end after about two decades of being frequently criticized by most everyone.
