It's a celebration... of sales!

Valve just announced their Steam Golden Week Celebration event. Golden Week is "a collection of 4 national holidays in Japan that take place within a 7-day period of time at the end of April to early May." Hey, the more you know.

As such, Valve is celebrating these holidays with a sale on thousands of games from Japan. How do you feel about 60% off of Death Stranding? Maybe you'd rather have NieR: Automata for 50% off? You fighting fans out there can now pick up Tekken 7for just $6 (USD). Those are obviously just a few of the many games that are on sale right now.

They have also updated the Points Shop with some new Seasonal items that you can check out and maybe pick up for yourself if you're so inclined. Valve says that there is a new profile background, avatar, and avatar frame you can pick up.
