GSC Game World plans to keep working diligently in 2025.

GSC Game World shared a brief end of the year message on social media today. As part of their message, the team mentions that they will continue to update Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl in 2025. They also say that a roadmap of future content and updates for Stalker 2 will be shared near the start of the new year.


Perhaps more interesting for Stalker franchise fans is word that GSC Game World is still working...

The first patch from GSC Game World for Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl came out earlier today. It's a big one and it arrives a little over a week since its fun but very flawed launch. On Steam alone this 1.0.1 update clocks in at 13.7 GB and includes over 650 fixes and improvements. The update should also be out for the Xbox version now. On the first of November, we reported on the PC system requirements for Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Those system requirements were the ones posted to the official Steam page for Stalker 2. Sadly, it seems like GSC Game World only put up some placeholder requirements because the actual system requirements were shared today by the development team. The Steam page for Stalker 2 has also been updated with these new requirements.
