Beginning May 19, the world of Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War will get a little more action-y. It is on this date that John McClane from Die Hard and Rambo from his self-entitled autobiography will begin to make their debut in the game.

This whole thing begins with some limited-time bundles and game modes. The updates for the games will begin on May 18 at 9PM (PT) for Cold War, continue on to the 19th for Warzone, and finish on the 20th for Call of Duty: Mobile. McClane and Rambo will appear in the Store and will cost real money to purchase, as if they would be released any other way.

Each character will be released as part of their own purchasable bundle. The Rambo bundle includes the character model, two finishing moves, three legendary weapon blueprints, a legendary calling card, legendary emblem, an epic watch, and charm. John McClane includes the character model, one finishing move, three legendary weapon blueprints, a legendary calling card, legendary emblem, epic watch, and epic charm.

In Warzone, the map will be updated with the Nakatomi Plaza building from Die Hard. This building will replace the Broadcast Tower and surrounding area presently in the game in the Downtown location. This building will also feature several optional missions that can be completed during Battle Royale and Plunder modes for in-game rewards. These include finding Supply Boxes, defusing C4 on the roof, and interrupting an arms deal gone wrong. The Nakatomi Plaza also has a vault that you can break into and steal from.

Other changes to Warzone's map include the addition of Survival Camps as an homage to Rambo: First Blood Part II. There are ten of these camps spread out across the map that include gear and dog tags to find. Collect enough dog tags and you might be rewarded.

One of the aircraft hangars in Verdansk have been turned into a makeshift CIA Outpost. It is here that CIA agents are trying to track down Rambo. It is also here that you can redeem "identification of fallen soldiers" in order to call in air reinforcements.

Other changes to Warzone include the addition of the Power Grab game mode. It sounds like a blend of battle royale and Kill Confirmed, where the only way to bring back teammates is to collect enough dog tags from fallen foes, completing contracts, or finding them in supply boxes.

Other additions to the game include a new Combat Bow Killstreak reward, the Ballistic Knife in Warzone, and much more. You can read about all of these changes here.
