Flashpoint

Twelve teams participated in the first season of Flashpoint 1. The tournament started on March 13th at the FACEIT Studio in Los Angeles and, after five weeks, has finally come to an end.

The Grand Finals saw the Danish team Mad Lions compete against the Brazilian squad MIBR.

It’s been 20 months since MIBR won a title, and they had a fair shot at Flashpoint 1. The Danes made a heroic comeback and defeated MIBR 2-1 to win $500,000 as the Champions of Flashpoint 1.

How did Mad Lions Win the Tournament?

All three maps were pretty balanced. The series started at Mirage. Mad Lions won the opening four rounds, but then a technical pause happened due to ping issues. MIBR took advantage, made a comeback, and eventually won Mirage with 16-13.

The second map was Inferno. It started exactly the same as Mirage. Mad Lions won the opening four rounds and then lost control of the game at that point. At half-time, MIBR was leading with a small lead. Mad Lions realized it was all or nothing and made a comeback to win the map 16-13.

Train was the deciding map, and MIBR started with an amazing 7-0 lead. At half time it was 12-3 for the Brazilians, and they were looking like they had won it. At least that is what I thought. If I had bet on them to win the map and series, I would have lost money. That’s why I stopped betting on matches, and all I do nowadays is open CS GO cases on CSBet. CSBet offers the unique https://csbet.gg/en/xray x ray cs go case. For 10% of the cost of the case, I can see what is inside the case and choose if I’m going to buy it or not. It’s not even considered gambling at this point. I’m just cheating the system and getting the skins I want.

Luckily I stopped betting on CS GO matches because, after the half time, Mad Lions looked like a completely new team, and MIBR started making costly mistakes. Everyone will remember the 22nd round when “Fallen” from MIBR had a chance to win the round. He missed a couple of shots, which caused Mad Lions to defuse the bomb. He got the kill, but after the bomb was defused.

In the end, it was Mad Lions who won the map 16-13 and completed the comeback.

Flashpoint 1

Asger “AcilioN” Larsen is the in-game leader of Mad Lions, and he finished the last map with 30 frags. He had a total of 66 in the series and played a vital role in the comeback. Meanwhile, on Twitter, Fallen from “MIBR” admitted he is to blame for the loss.

We can’t wait to see the next season of Flashpoint!
