Prices have gone up globally.

Effectively immediately, the pricing on all Xbox consoles, controllers, headsets, and other peripherals have been increased. In an announcement made today, Xbox says that the price increase on consoles and accessories begins May 1 with pricing on some Xbox games going up to $79.99 for the holiday season.

These price increases are global, with just one exception: Headsets. Headset prices are going up only in the United States and Canada....
