    Price of the Nintendo Switch 2 Increasing to $500 in September

    Prices for Nintendo hardware are once again going up.

    Nintendo announced in the early morning hours on May 8 that the price of the Switch 2 console will go up by at least $50 in the United States, pushing the price from $449.99 to $499.99. Other global regions will see similar price increases. These pricing changes aren't expected to go live until September 1, 2026.

    Nightdive Studios announced that their "faithful recreation" of the 1994 sci-fi classic, System Shock, will be coming to the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.
