FESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSST!

Far too much time has passed since the last Steam Fest, so it's a darn good thing Valve just announced the Turn-Based RPG Fest. Steam's Turn-Based RPG Fest kicks off on September 30th at 10AM PT and will offer a full week of discounts and demos on all things turn-based RPG related.

Valve says that this Fest will cover areas such as turn-based tactical titles to turn-based strategy titles.

The Turn-Based RPG Fest will come to an end...

Steve Martin not included.

The Planes, Trains, and Automobiles Fest kicked off earlier today on Steam. This new Planes, Trains, and Automobiles Fest will be live until September 23 at 10AM (PT).

The Planes, Trains, and Automobiles Fest includes a sale on all things transportation related. It is, in fact, a Fest that is not just limited to planes, trains, and automobiles but is called the Planes, Trains, and Automobiles Fest because of the reference to the movie that...

A fest all about rhythm games.

Valve just kicked off the Steam Rhythm Fest. From now through August 26th, you will be able to play new demos and find discounts on all game rhythm related.

This Fest includes discounts and promos for a lot of games that include words like Beat, Rhythm, and Trombone. I see that Hi-Fi Rush is on sale for 40% off right now, which makes that stellar game just $17.99. Trombone Champ is 65% off, Crypt of the NecroDancer is 80% off, Pistol Whip...

A new Steam Fest begins July 29th.

Valve announced that the Tower Defense Fest will begin on July 29 at 10AM PT on Steam. This Fest will focus on titles that deal with "building and defending your tower; and combatting and destroying your enemies in the process."

Valve's trailer shows off just a few of the titles that will be included in this Fest. Some of the titles include games like X-Morph: Defense, Element TD2, The Riftbreaker, Orcs Must Die! 3, Defense...

Pew pew.

Valve announced that a Steam FPS Fest would begin today and so help them, they actually did it. From today through to April 22 at 10AM PT, all things first-person shooter related are having their time in the spotlight on Steam.

This Fest, like those that came before it, features a bunch of sales on first-person shooter titles. There are also some new, free demos for upcoming titles that you can also check out if you so desire.

Looking at the current...

You'll never guess what this Fest is about.

From April 15 through April 22, Valve will host the Steam FPS Fest. Contrary to what you thought "FPS" stood for, it actually stands for "first-person shooters." Yes, an entire week of Steam offering deals and demos for a variety of first-person shooter games.

Valve says that this Fest will cover everything from hunting games to diving games, and modern games back to prehistoric shooters. They're all included...

The cards kind of decks, not the Steam nor the outdoors nor the skateboard varieties.

Decks, the kind you create with playing cards, hasn't yet had a Fest on Steam yet. Don't worry though, because Valve is righting that wrong when the Steam Deckbuilders Fest arrives on March 25 at 10AM PT and ends on April 1 also at 10AM PT.

While this Deckbuilders Fest is not specifically for Steam Deck titles, I'm sure many of the games available during the course of the Fest will...

You think Valve is just using a dartboard at this point for new Fest ideas?

Valve just passed along word that the next Steam Fest will begin next week on February 26th. From the 26th through to March 4th at 10AM (PT), Steam's Dinos vs. Robots Fest will be live.

This Fest will once again include a full week of discounts, demos, streams, and more on all games related to dinosaurs, games with robots, and maybe even some games with dinosaurs and robots.

Vote with your wallets in this ever ongoing debate.

The latest Steam Fest to grace your eye holes here in the year two thousand and twenty-four focuses on an age-old debate: Pirates vs. Ninjas. Do you prefer hunting for booty or stealthily stabbing some booty? That seems to be the question you'll have to answer for yourself in the Pirates vs. Ninjas Fest going on right now through Steam.

From January 22nd (that's today) through to January 29th at 10AM (PT), you will...

Make virtual money by spending real money.

We are less than a week into 2024 and the dust has barely had time to settle on the Steam Winter Sale 2023. Valve cares not for that as they have just sent out the announcement for their next Steam Fest.

On January 8, 2024, the Steam Capitalism and Economy Fest will kick off. It will offer a week's worth of discounts, demos, streams, and more on all games "centered entirely around a player's earning power." Valve mentions...

Pew-pew.

The Steam SHMUP Fest is officially live on Steam. This new fest runs from now through to October 2 at 10AM (PT). As per usual with other Steam Fests, this one includes big discounts and demos that fall under the "shoot 'em up" (SHMUP) category.

Just from a quick glance at the sales, there are some great games included in this Fest. There's Brotato on sale for just $3.99, Enter the Gungeon at $4.49, 20 Minutes Till Dawn at $3.99, and Soulstone Survivors...

The SHMUP Fest begins September 25th.

Another themed Steam Fest is coming next week. Starting on September 25th the Steam SHMUP Fest begins and will run through until October 2nd. This Fest is all about the game full of power-ups, bullets, projectiles, and more mayhem.

As usual, the Steam SHMUP Fest includes discounts on games that fall under the "shoot 'em up" genre. There will also be new demos to try out during the Fest. The Steam SHMUP Fest will take place...

Not a very stealthy fest if it's announcing itself this early.

Valve just announced that the Steam Stealth Fest will run from July 24 through July 31. This Fest, like all the ones that came before it, will include discounts, demos, and more all focused on games that have some measure of stealth included.

As with the thousand (give or take) previous Steam Fests that have occurred, this one comes with a preview trailer to give a sample of what's to come.

The...

There are enough base building games out there that Valve is dedicating an entire Fest to them.

There is apparently no shortage of base building games out there on the market. There are so many of them, in fact, that Valve is able to dedicate an entire Steam Fest to just this game type.

From January 23 at 10AM (PT) through January 30 at 10AM (PT), the Steam Base Builder Fest will be held. As with most Steam Fests, this one will feature plenty of discounts on games, only...

A week to indulge your need for speed.

Next Monday, the 23rd of May, Valve will kick off a week of sales, demos, and trivia on all things racing. That's right, a new themed Steam Fest is upon us! This time it is the Steam Racing Fest and focuses on all things racing related.

This event, which runs from May 23 through May 30 will feature discounts, demos, and trivia. I have to assume that a fair number of "traditional" racing titles included in this along with...
