Nintendo announced that they will host both a Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase and an Indie World Showcase on August 27, 2024. The action kicks off at 10AM ET for the Partner Showcase with the Indie World Showcase to follow right afterwards.

In typical Nintendo fashion, they did not specify which games will be shown off. They did however note that the both streams will run for about 40 minutes in total.

The new release offers up some additional content not seen in the initial release. That initial release having happened in November 2022 and not in 1985 as we had all assumed. The Deluxe Edition includes the Cowboys and Critters DLC and a few other platform specific bonuses.

Capcom just announced Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics today. At some point in 2024, there will be digital and physical versions of the game released on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and digitally only on PC via Steam.
