Rockstar Games says that pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto 6 will open on June 25 for PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series X|S. The studio announced this pre-order availability date along with a trailer that revealed the game's cover art.

A no-frills re-release.

Treyarch confirmed that the original Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 are getting ported to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The ports are being handled by Iron Galaxy and will hit the PlayStation platform in July.

These PS4 and PS5 releases will include the full campaigns, multiplayer content, and Zombies. Though unconfirmed, it's assumed that the multiplayer downloadable content will be included in this re-release.

genDESIGN, a studio helmed by Fumito Ueda, shared a full reveal of gen ATLAS. This title is a single-player, sci-fi, action-adventure experience coming at some point to the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and XBOX Series X|S.

Ueda is best known for creating Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, and The Last Guardian. genDESIGN is made up of several team members that worked on these titles alongside Ueda.

And yes, this one does seem to be exclusive...

There's that September release window again.

Silent Hill: Townfall also showed up at State of Play this week. Konami shared that the anticipated horror title will release on PlayStation 5, Steam, and Epic on September 24, 2026. Pre-orders are currently available now for both the Standard and Deluxe Editions. There are pre-order bonuses available for both versions. The Deluxe Edition of the game also includes 48-hours of advanced access.

PlayStation opened this week's State of Play with a new look at Marvel's Wolverine. Wolverine is still in development from Insomniac Games, a studio that used to develop non-Marvel video games once upon a time. Sony announced a rather lengthy State of Play today. This showcase will run for more than 60 minutes and will air on Tuesday, June 2 at 2 PM PT (5 PM ET).

Details about the State of Play are scarce outside of the fact that new footage will be shown off for Marvel's Wolverine from Insomniac Games. This new footage will show off "Logan's brutal and relentless combat along with some new details."

Cyan Worlds just released both Myst and Riven on the latest generation of PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Not only is it available for the regular PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles, but it's also playable on PlayStation VR2 and through the Microsoft Store. Previously, only Myst was available on the Xbox Series X|S and the Microsoft Store.

Both Myst and Riven retail for $34.99. However PlayStation Plus users can save 20% off of the price for a limited time....

Sony announced new price increases for PlayStation Plus that will go into effect starting May 20th for new customers in select regions. The price increase "does not apply to current subscribers" unless you live in Turkey and India. Sony says that the reason for the change is due to "ongoing market conditions."

Indie development studio Polyarc announced that Moss: The Forgotten Relic is coming to PC and consoles this summer. A teaser trailer shows off some of the fantasy adventure that is, apparently for the first time, making the move from VR to flatscreen with this new release.
