The once PlayStation exclusive is coming to PC.

Last night, Insomniac Games announced that Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered plus Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be coming soon to PC. Spider-Man will be out on August 12, 2022 while Miles Morales will be available on PC at some point this fall.

If you weren't already aware, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales will have a special Ultimate Edition of the game available for the PlayStation 5. This Ultimate Edition of the game includes the Miles Morales game alongside a special release of Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered. However, as it currently stands, Sony says there is no plans to offer this special remaster as a standalone release for PS5 owners.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales was already confirmed to be a PlayStation 5 launch title. Sony revealed today what the game cases for PlayStation 5 titles will look like. They showed off the case for the upcoming Spider-Man: Miles Morales, the PS5 exclusive coming from Insomniac Games.

Having seen a few in my day I can confirm that yeah, that is indeed a game case. The white and black design on the top banner area really seems to jive well with their general theme for the PS5 design. And much like the PlayStation...

Insomniac Games took to the PlayStation Blog today to talk about some of the cool tech that will be utilized in Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales. This PlayStation 5 launch title is said to be "akin to a game like Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" in terms of overall scope. So it's not quite a full sequel, one of which is still presumably coming at some point, but it's also a fair bit more robust than an add-on.
