    Judgment is Now Available

    Prepare to get judged.

Sega announced that Judgment is now available for the PlayStation 4 today. Technically, the digital version was released last week, but for those that wanted the physical release, today is your day. Thanks to our Judgment review, at least you know that the wait was worth it, right?

Shameless self-promotion out of the way, let's talk about the game itself, shall we? Judgment is a game not completely dissimilar to the Yakuza titles. Only this time, you play not as as former member of the Yakuza but as Detective Takayuki Yagami as he's looking to...

    Review: Judgment (PS4)

    The same, but different.

Sega, specifically the Yakuza team at Sega, are really damn good at what they do. The primarily Japanese developer has been on a roll with their stellar Yakuza-focused releases this generation that include Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami and Kiwami 2, and Yakuza 6. All of these titles have received high praise both from myself and from other media outlets these past few years.

It should then come as no surprise that the level of quality found in those titles does not take any sort of hit with the team's latest release, Judgment. Make no mistake about...

    Judgment Announcement Trailer

Judgment has a new trailer available today. Sony put this new "announcement" trailer up on their YouTube page just a short time ago. We don't have any additional information to share with you about said trailer or the game, but that's just fine.

If you need more details about Judgment, you can always read through the release date announcement. By the way, Judgment is still apparently on track to be released in the Americas on June 25, despite it being pulled from stores in Japan. You can also check out another piece that talks about how the game will ship with two...

Judgment to Ship with Two Sets of English Subtitles

Building off of yesterday's news of a June 25th release date for Judgment in the West, comes word today that the game will ship with two different English subtitles to choose from. This was revealed as part of today's new media release for Judgment on the PlayStation Blog.

The Yakuza localization team already does an absolutely tremendous job, but it looks like they're trying to up the ante with Judgment. The idea to have two separate English subtitles ties in to the fact that Judgment will have English audio in addition to the original Japanese audio. Those who played the...

Judgment to Release in Americas and Europe on June 25

Late last night, Sega announced that Judgment will be released in the Americas and throughout Europe on June 25. This reveal came last night via Twitter along with a few additional details about a pre-order bonus.

Fans of the Yakuza games will want to keep an eye on this one. Why's that? Because it's set in the same world as the Yakuza franchise, made by the same developers, and contains some of the same gameplay elements. However, this is not a Yakuza game, it's merely a spin-off.

You play as detective Takayuki Yagami who is investigating a serial murder case...
