Techland just released the 1.2 patch for Dying Light 2 today on the PC. A console release of this update should be coming very soon, say in about the next couple of days.

Today's update is said to address issues that were reported by players. It also includes a number of technical and gameplay improvements such as better ragdoll mechanics, tweaks to melee combat, and more. There is now also a "high-performance"...

It's the first free skin pack.

Those of you who own Dying Light 2 can now download the "Authority" skin pack. This is the first of the game's DLC with another pack, "Ronin," coming along shortly.

Today's Authority pack release offers up gear that covers the chest, legs, and feet. The second part of this release comes on February 16 and adds in gauntlets, a windbreaker, and arm guards. Finally, on February 18, you will get the two-handed Authority hammer....

Maybe don't start playing until it's released.

As I noted in my Dying Light 2 Stay Human review, the game had some bugs and a bunch of jankiness. Thankfully, Techland is still hard at work on addressing a number of these issues before the game is publicly available on Friday.

Techland is saying that there will be a day 1 update released for the game that includes over 1,000 fixes. This update is apparently on top of the 1,000 or so fixes that have been made since the game...

Techland just announced that the Nintendo Switch release of Dying Light 2 Stay Human (Cloud Version) has been delayed.
