In September 2025, Helldivers 2 developer Arrowhead said that reducing the install size of their game on PC was a top priority. Today, those efforts have started to bear fruit.

In a new post made to the Helldivers 2 Steam page, Arrowhead says that they were able to reduce the PC installation size by a whopping 131GB. With the help of Nixxes, the PC install size went from 154GB to 23GB after "de-duplicating" the data for Helldivers...

The Sony Cinematic Universe is expanding soon.

During Sony's CES 2025 conference, the company announced two new films and one new anime series based off of a few of their most popular franchises.

Sony says that Helldivers 2 is being made into a film. It is coming via a collaboration between Sony Productions and Sony Pictures. Helldivers 2, the game, is developed by Arrowhead and released on PlayStation 5 and PC on February 8, 2024.

New weapons, armors, and more arrive on May 9.

Another Premium Warbond for Helldivers 2 is expected to drop on May 9. The new Polar Patriots Warbond will once again offer players new weapons to unlock in addition to new armors, capes, and emotes.
