The "restructuring" sees the QA department cut in half.

Staff at Rocksteady shared news with Eurogamer that several employees have been laid off. The reason cited by management was due to a "restructuring," which is the usual generic reason given for pretty much all of these industry layoffs.

Some more bad news today for fans of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Today, the official account posted on Twitter that Season 2 for the game has been delayed.

The new date for Season 2 is now July 25th. The original date that Season 2 was supposed to begin was July 11th. Undoubtedly, the news is hitting the few hundred people still playing Suicide Squad (at least through Steam).

The first season is the first free post-launch DLC and will be available to all owners of the game at no extra cost. Warner Bros. Discovery chief financial officer Gunnar Wiedenfels says that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League "has fallen short of our expectations." In other words, the game flopped and probably flopped real hard.

Rocksteady and WB Games were forced to pull Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League just an hour into its early access release. Though not officially out until February 2nd, those that purchase the more expensive Deluxe Edition of the game are given 72-hours of early access. This game is also using a rolling unlock, which means that those that identify of natives of New Zealand were able to start playing the game already.
