I think you hit it right on the head Ghost. I'd ask those who are so vehemently opposed to so-called spawn camping if they have ever killed an enemy who spawned at a point they were in the middle of taking. If the answer is yes, then their spawn-camping argument is hypocritical.
I've seen threads where people suggest a sort of magical force-field around people who spawn so that they have time to get their bearings to fight back. That is just a joke of an idea. How many of you that have played for more than an hour or two can say that you waited for a spawner to get their bearings before you killed them. I'll bet that answer is zero.
Maybe the solution would be to have a server rule where we line up across from one another and wait until someone calls out "fire".
