I am all for the fix. As a squadleader, it is awful to have a six man squad and then find yourself with only three. This keeps loyality with in the squad. You can not just jump squads in combat, you must stay with your squadleader. This adds another realism to the game, enough it is not real.

If you think changing this will suddenly make all these brainless noobs keep near their SLs - well, think again. More likely, people wont bother with this whole squad business at all. That will not add anything to the gameplay, noobs will still be wiped out by skilled players (if they stay with this crap, that is).

p.s. Ghost Recon demo is out. Thats where my money goes. DICE and BF franchise director can go stick BF2142 and AF up their collective rear exit.

It's also annoying when you're commanding and see a lownwolf sneak to an undefended flag. No biggy, just launch arty. Oops, that lonewolf has just turned into 6 guys, they've capped the flag, and your arty isn't even close.

LOL. Have i read that right? Just prooves that YOU are the one missing the point completely and don't even have a valid argument.

You are clearly stating that one major point of the game (Spawning on a squadleader) should be taken out because it's making it harder for you and your team. looooooool.

So should we take out squadding altogether wargimp, maybe you and your team wont be killed as much and you'll get 2x commander score for winning xD. Maybe we can fix that arty problem by making it more accurate too?

At the end of the day, the only people moaning are those who get killed when a squad spawns in front of them so it ruins their statzzz. There is a simple solution to that. No it's not go and cry to mummy EA to get it changed, it called get used to the game because guess what, you can do it too! Press caps lock, leave squad, join squad xD \o/ It's not a bug or a glitch, it's called Battlefield 2, the more 'fast paced' sequel to Battlefield 1942.

Ognacy also has a valid point. All you people do is ruin the game for a lot of people by constantly having things changed, just so you dont get owned for a few weeks. Pretty soon after, all the skilled players have adapted, something which you are unable to do, and you look for something else to change.

I find it hysterical that all the "Pro" gamers and Comp/Clan people are supporting a so-called feature that doesn't even represent ANY skill at Playing the Game. You know...killing people...using a Vehicle...superior tactics to out maneuver your opponent.

All they're screaming about is that they can't teleport their squads around any more.

Whatever happened to real gaming skill on the Playing field???

And to those that say that it will only lead to more spawn camping, well I know that when I play pubbing even with my clan I don't squad jump and I don't have a whole lot of problems getting places and into the action. Sure its a quicker way to get there, but I don't see the connection between having to travel a bit farther (face it most people don't walk when they don't have to) will lead to spawn camping. It would just be like any other time where you were trying to cap a flag. Even now you know where the spawn points are so you keep an extra eye out for when someone spawns, it doesn't mean you have your gun trained on that one spot the entire time.

My point is that if your team is pushed into one base or back onto the Carrier is your the US and you have a SL trying to take a spawn others could spawn on them to help. Without being able to do this you will be stuck at that one base and spawn camped till the other team takes the flag. As far as other saying it's take away from the realism. IT'S A GAME. It's not ment to be real it's not a SIM but a FPS. Like being able to spawn at all after being killed is realistic. There is no logic to that argument because so may aspects of this game are unrealistic. There is nothing wrong with the current set-up because anyone can choose to use it or not use it.

I'm not signing this. I don't at all agree with squad hopping. It just ruins the whole point of squads.

The most fun I've had in this game is playing with a full squad of people working together on voip without leaving all the time.
