Using the game and the vehicles as intended instead of teleporting everywhere.
Yes the SL spawn is a feature but using it to the extent that it has gotten to is absurd.

Still haven't given me a strong reason for it removal. You say I'm getting it so based on your logic you would rather show up after your team has lost a battle to take/hold a spawn point than jump into the fight and help them win. How is that teamwork and you basically saying you would rather lose. Sorry but that makes no sense to me. I would rahter make a difference in a fight rather than my team lose because someone doesn't want to squad hop to help change the outcome of a battle. And I won't agree that the people that have been in here today complaining is a large enough sample of what the much larger community feels about this. I tend to try to stay away from stereotyping a group. Once again I will play when the feature is removed and I'm sure I continue to see success I just don't agree with the need to remove it. Also I haven't seen a valid argument in these posts that would convince me otherwise.

Why isn't this issue a server option? Every time they make a gameplay change, somebody is not happy! So let's have an option, instead of enforcing it on all players.
Clans may have it their way, if they want, while most of the public servers will turn it off. Problem solved!

What about a petition to additionally remove the ability to spawn at a squadleader after you suicided? IMHO their fix described in the leaked info doesn't do the trick.

I'll tell you what...I'm a believer that EA/DICE never intended it's use this way.
It is my belief that EA knew about the "overisight" but didn't feel it would be an issue. UNTIL they noticed how it was being used. So they pushed for a fix now.
That's why the change came as such as a surprise to the community.

Now that the community is used to it there's an uproar about it's change.
It's quite possible that there will be enough of a stance to leave it as-is that they may not change things, however I think something will change.

I'm just a firm believer that it's not a legitimate tactic for this Game. It's a lame attempt to get around the actual gameplay.

It took EA almost a year to notice how it was being used.
I guess after the game was on the market in June 2005, they just went into hibernation until spring when they woke up and realized "Holy crap, the community is using the squad system wrong."
Sure is a good thing they woke up in the spring eh?:laugh:

people who dont play in clans should keep ****ing quiet, ****ing me off.

Oh really, so unless you play in some clan you have no right to voice an opinion? whatever. I'll play the game I paid for the way I want thank you very much. Are clan members some sort of uber players or something . As for squadhopping being called unrealistic, so it is unrealistic to squadhop but after I die I can choose to spawn at any of our flags way across the map and that is ok? Some logic. And I'd also be forced to stay with a squad who's squadleader has no interest in teamwork? Most of the time I squadhop is because I joined a 'squad' that doesnt work together in the first place. Taking squadhopping out of the game is just plain stupid.

Excellent support! I signed it and I'll be passing it around my clan alliances. We're only about 200 people but if enough people get the message out than who knows how things may change!

The true irony of this is that clans will still be able to dominate because they will adapt. Players who are complaining now, will still be complaining, perhaps for the next patch to remove squad leaders all together.

Why people never embraced the concept instead of complaining about it I will never know.

I can't tell you how many times I have played on a Wake server and see pub players who make it to shore as USMC or when China gets capped to one flag and they make it to another, and they don't take the 1/2 second to hit the insert key and create a squad. Not even squad hopping, but not even making a squad. How you can see a USMC team on Wake with only one squad??? and think there is an exploit of the game going on is laughable.

I wonder where people have seen an "abuse" of this system other than in clan matches where squad hopping actually keeps the game flowing.

One person if they take the time to be a squad leader, will still have 5 people spawn on him and cap your flags, this won't change. If he takes the time to be a squad leader, he will get reinforcements.

Truly the most ironic complaints I have ever witnessed.
