Square Enix is still making good on their multi-platform strategy. Today, the studio released Final Fantasy 16 on Xbox Series X|S and the Microsoft Store on PC. It's also available under the Xbox Play Anywhere label, meaning you buy it once and can access it on both Xbox and PC.

Today's release on PC comes in two flavors: The base edition is $49.99, while the Complete Edition with the two released expansions goes for $69.99. Square Enix and Sony have had partnerships that date back several years now. Many, if not most, of the games developed by Square Enix ended up being exclusive to PlayStation platforms. Square Enix released the final DLC expansion for Final Fantasy 16 today. Entitled "The Rising Tide," this paid DLC adds new story quests, battles, sidequests, weapons, accessories, a higher level cap, and more.

This expansion follows the first paid DLC for the game, Echoes of the Fallen. You can get both of these DLC releases as part of the Final Fantasy 16 Expansion Pass or you can just purchase them separately.
