Well I have to put Endgame on hold, the server I use to film was our clan server and the guy that runs it is on holiday and it's stuck on Project Reality and I can't get him to change it because he's unavailable.

I'm CONSIDERING scrapping EndGame and starting work on a new fresh SINGLE movie as I'm growing tired of all the delays etc. getting in the way and just don't care about the movie so much anymore and I feel If I continue it just won't be up to scratch.

Thats a pain with the server. I was going to do the same thing with american baby scrap it. But i put **** loads of work in over the last few weeks and no am getting back into it. Think you'd be mad to scrap it NeoRicen, could you not get some footage by hosting local game ? to keep it going.

NeoRicen if you need a server consider contacting one of us Sir. Admins as we now have 2 servers and we would be happy to help fellow film makers. We may also be able to provide actors if you need them.

Don't scrap your film, Keep going untill the end.

That's the most dangerous thing for any movie maker... Don't let it beat you.

Since other people have already been giving you moral support, I'm going to give you some practical advice to solve the more psychological things:

The first thing I advice you to is get your movie soundtrack or trailer piece (I don't know if you have one yet) put it on a MP3 player, and play it really loud!
I don't know if it works on anybody else apart from strange little old me but when there’s nothing but the movie in your head, it's a real work motivator.

For instance, it stops me pressing the Bf2 icon and starts me pressing the Vegas Icon instead... (just for analogy, I'm aware there’s instances where you need to start BF2 to film stuff depending on what you need to do too, so whatever)

                That concludes today lecture.

In other news, and to continue the motion of this thread... I took my first public screenshot of my next project.

Re: Future Media Movie Projects (Listed here)

My main problem is that I've finished editing everything I've filmed but can't get in to film more so I'm really at a dead end for now, I had set myself a goal of finishing it by the end of next week however since the server isn't working properly I can't do that.

Also getting actors is kinda hard due to the patch p***ing off alot of our clan members who aren't really around anymore but come 1.4 I should have no problem getting a team together.

Oh well, it looks like EndGame is on Hold (again) until the servers good to go, I may just work on a simple 2 man movie in the mean time (I can film with my brother over LAN that way).

Neo, if your thinking of giving up on endgame.. well, i have been working on chase at fushe pass for 11 months right now, and the video is just about 6 min long. It has been through a serious crash (had to redo the entire ending from very low quality clip of the ending), multiple patches, as well as other issues (still waiting for someone to have enough time to do sound design and some coding).. i have thought about giving up also.. but i decide to just keep it on hold and always keep it in mind..

And if you dont think your movie is up to scratch because of everyone doing all these special effects now, well, you honestly dont need special effects for a movie to be good. As long as the basics are perfected, its all you need..

Neo, dont give up. I overcame my lousy computer spec and managed to come out with my first bf2 video... And I know you can do it. :)

To Keyelite, 11 months? you sure about that? :|:

Alright thanks smiley, ill contact you then.. it seems to me that i would need someone who has some free time to help out, everyone who i have tried to get has been busy..

And also, im not sure if im going to do a sequel to it, its possible that i might.. it just depends on alot of stuff (but right now im focusing on getting fushe done)

and blitz, im pretty sure its 11 months.. i started shortly after ambush at mashtuur was made.. it seems like a long time and it is.. it really shouldnt have taken this long, but i would rather wait and finish it than to scrap it..
