Re: Future Media Movie Projects (Listed here)
It is very complex when zoomed out like that. I always thought of it like a puzzle and when it's presented in front of me, so very delicate. I fear I might break it every time I change something.
I also must mention that up the final pieces it was a very practical build. However, I'm sure like most of us editors when we get tired of battling the same footage into those differently precisely calibrated layers it's time to "screw it" and stack up because you won't be going back there to edit again, and safely throw organisation of the window.
If that was difficult to understand: basically I started with 4 layers, movie screen, soundtrack, sound FX, text.... now I have 10 (there’s one more hidden below but not all are as "packed to capacity"
Amongst other things there been lots of fine tuning. One of the new things that's had a major overhaul is the new buffed up sound work, which I would be previously skipped in earlier productions, so keep an ear out. I’m recommending a 5.1 surround setup not because the option is selected for aesthetics, but because there’s many separate sounds configured and it can get very loud if everything goes through the one channel.
The release is soon, but I still cannot give release dates as part of the publish involves working around others to make sure no people complain about the availability.
