If you don't have the intellect or the will to respond to my perfect arguments for why im an expert pilot in the other thread...then...go screw yourself if you can't actually respond to points and all you can do is flame.....

Not to mention that other guy vouched for my skill.

I mean if you are worse than me in a chopper then you have no right to insult me and certainly no right to judge my skill....if you take into account you've never seen me play...

I don't care how much "skill" you had in 1.12, but if all you did was to use that helicopter as a huge flying tank and spam the hell out of enemy base, I don't think that's skill. I could do the same, but I have the class to actually fly tactically, low, and use terrain to my advantage. Now I am doing well in the new environment, and I can back it up with screens, while you are whining like a cry baby.

All your arguments are biased toward the pilots and basically falsify themselves.

2. How do you know I don't use terrain and fly low? I DO do both of those things. Ask that cheesewhich guy wherever he is. He knows I don't baserape...

Anyways il still be flying choppers and getting kills, but im not going to like it since it takes much more skill to fly a chopper than to press E when you are near a stinger and left click twice....

Also, you can't back up anything with screens...none of them mean anything since you can't prove WHAt you killed people with...only a video of 15 mins of you in a chopper owning would mean something.

Anyways, il see you on the battlefield.

On the offensive side of the equation...
More skill is required of the "average" pilot to manage to stay in the air. Yes, the AA missiles are more deadly and they do make wild turns or searching circles or zigzags but they can still be avoided in several ways.

Study your maps if you're going to be flying. Learn where the AA mounts and mobile AA are. Learn to suppress them or cooperate with other units to suppress them.

On the defensive side, if you are playing on a map with aircraft, learn where the AA is and how to use these weapons systems effectively. Call out your target even if you don't fire so you can watch where they are going and track them.

P.S. AA mounts have ALWAYS been repairable by the engineers.

This alone invalidates anything you've posted or will post.

Why the hell should flying a chopper give you a magical right to own for 15 minutes while everyone else has a significantly lower life expectancy?

Flying choppers is DANGEROUS. It's consitered the most likely thing you can do to get you killed on the modern battle field.

Aside from that point, I've already seen people doing very well in choppers. Prolly because instead of endlessly whining on these boards, they are in there practicing and ADAPTING.

Last night I was able to prove that BHing is not dead. Capped 5 flags in a row without any problems. Yeah, I got dead after that, but I didn't whine about it. I'd screwed up and dropped within tank cannon range. My own bloody fault.

Did I freak out and start whining about how nerfed my beloved 'Hawk has become? No... I grabbed another and went back for more.

Exactly, not only that but you have a gunner with a chaingun to blast them away also. If you fly near an AA emplacement wihtout paying attention you deserve to fail.

Your abolutley correct, but try doing that on ghost town which I said before is my favorite map.....

Theres AA everwhere on that map.

And of course then you just say well play other maps with choppers.

Well I will but I have to get a chance to play first.

My comp is messed up atm.

you can definitely do this in wake island.

I don't see how is this a diffculity in ghost town unless you are flying hind, since there are so many buildings.

Yeah, that map was bad for AA back in 1.12 so I can't imagine now. Have to hide in between the buildings or something. It's like Bocage back in BF1942.

I know one thing, 1/10 gunners actually use the TV missile when I line it up for them, 1/10 gunners shoots the stinger site even AFTER they have seen the missile trails come from it.

Anyways, il still play, still get kills, and still be using crappy gunners, but this patch is crap as far as AA and other things are concerned....

Thats the thing, wake island is great, but try ghost town.

You either have to fly in between buildings to kill things there (the few guys in the streets)

Or fly high to kill most of the people which are on the rooftops THUS EXPOSING YOURSELF TO AA.

Anyways im not complaining about that, just saying its probably toughest map for a chopper pilot now.

Consider changing the servers you frequent. I highly reccomend the <R2> server.
