It gets you just as many girls as trying to be cool picking on a videogames helicopter flight technique over the INTERNETS. But in his case, there is obvious style in his responses. Style gets the ladies.

im a good chopper pilot, not awesome but will get you the money shots,but i do hate it when i point at the enemy attack chopper or a black hawk full of people and all my gunner does is "try" to hit a tank with the chain gun. really gets me.

I can fly, gun and solo probably better than the average player. But I do think it's an exploit. Any vehicle that is made more powerful by 2 people using it, should not get the same benefit with just one person using it. I am not saying all vehciles in BF 2 are like this, but most of them should be this way. To me is a game balance issue.

Every single vehicle in the game fits your definition.

By that logic, 99% of BF2 players are experienced soloers... especially those damn groundpounders: I wish they'd stop exploiting the tanks, apcs and transport vehicles.

Can I address my complaints to anyone in particular or should I just troll threads and be pissy about it? :laugh: (BigPoppa, I'm looking in your general direction.)

I consider flying solo to be an exploit, just like bunny hopping. What pilot would leave his pilot seat climb over to the gunner seat and then back? It's one of the main disappointments in BF2. EA should have locked seating positions once an attack chopper is airborne, but it might have been too much trouble. Also, BF2 is meant to be about team play and flying solo is very much the opposite of this. Chopper who0res may have fun doing this, but this goes to the detriment of others.

Could you please explain to me how bunnyhopping is an exploit? I cant wait to hear this.

In a way, that's true and it would be stupid to deny it. However, there are a few options available for budding gunners and pilots...

1- Singleplayer (Early on, fantastic to guarantee the heli in order to practice)
2- Empty/Small servers (Try to pick a Dragon Valley 64 server, as there are more helis)
3- A friend following you in #2 (now you can both practice together)

It would be extremely inconsiderate to learn "on the job", while the team needs the asset. That's the other side of the coin...

I find it pretty funny, but i can see why players do it, i am sick of having gunners say on wake with about 10% view distance and all the do is spin the gun in circles bailout and dont open their 'chutes.

Actually most vehicles don't fit this description at all Sloi. There is only 3.5 vehicles I can think of that are more powerful with 2 people in it in order of damage it can deal out to the enemy.

1. Attack Chopper (the biggest killing machine in the game).
2. Bombers (the second person can increase the damage done by this jet).
3. Tank (while the top gunner isn't too effective, it can do some damage and help keep the tank alive).
3.5 Blackhawk (the mini guns can do some damage, but not as much as it used to).

Every other vehcile doesn't fit this situation so most of the community are not "soloers". It just happens to be that the attack choppers (mainly the US and Chineese) don't suffer as much in performance from people soloing them, while the other vehciles would suffer more.

p.s. You could add your average jeep, but if someone switches to the gun they do leave themselves to be a target for too many other vehicles including AT infantry. That's why I didn't add it to the list.

I can only imagine what kind of girls would be attracted to someone thats good in video games piloting, probably not the kind you wanna be with anyway.
