Hey, you ram a lot, I've seen it in your videos. By the way, why is your screen black and white and why does it have so much static and such a huge crosshair?

Wow....good argument, I think you just convinced everyone.......Seriousely, dont post useless crap. Who are you to say that ramming is 100% legit? How is it legit?

        1) It wastes a vehicle that someone could potentially use

        2) The only skill it takes is to BARELY be able to fly a helicopter/jet (which is really easy). You just need to know enough to be able to fly to a target, wow....so much skill.

        3) Like I said before, any trained monkey can learn to do that. You won't see us using monkeys in real war any time soon by the way. Why? Because they have no skill thats why. If a monkey has no skill, and a monkey can ram, then ramming takes no skill.

        4) Comparing ramming in BF2 to suicide bombing in real life is pointless and rediculous because they have nothing in common. Suicide bombers at least have the skill to be able to operate a REAL aircraft in the first place. Even ramming in real life is not a legit strategy, its a cowardly way out. Your going to commit suicide to possibly destroy 1 target? How dumb can you be.....talk about low self esteem

        5) BF2 is a game, and just because you are ABLE to do something, doesn't make it right. There is a little thing called ethics, even in video games. Why is ramming a legit strategy, but glitching/hacking is not? Glithing and hacking more often take MORE skill to use than ramming. You at least have to be able to know HOW to hack or glitch properly. I dont see how you can say ramming takes skill.....skill would be NOT dying in the first place.

        6) If your being camped by armor and you justify ramming just because it will help your team to not be camped.....cry more....The driver of the armor has more skill than you if he got into your base, cornered your team, and is avoiding anti-tank missles (or maybe your not smart enough to spawn as anti tank?).

        7) Know when you've been defeated, and take your death like an adult. Dont cry that your being camped or that you want to ram someone because hes doing better than you. Even if you have 1 flag left, take the loss, because you obviousely deserve it. If your team had skill in the first place, you wouldnt be in the position to be camped right now anyways. Ramming people doesn't make you more skillfull in that situation. It makes you look desperate and cowardly.

        8) Ramming achieves nothing that an anti tank couldn't do. Even if it takes a few deaths, thats what anti-tank was designed for. Stop being lazy, spawn as anti tank, do your job and eliminate the armor the proper way.

        9) l2p nubs

        10) I just needed a number 10 so I can say that these are the top 10 reasons why ramming is cheap/dumb/stupid/lame/cowardly/notskillfullinanyway.

Yeah, maybe I should learn to code and make a mega hack. Then when I encounter rammers, I'll give them a taste of "it's all in the name of fun" by one shotting them automatically with the AK-101 each and every time I see them. Hey, you're just ramming for fun. I'm just hacking and killing you from hundreds of meters away with the push of a button for fun

Re: why is ramming so shunned in this game?

Sometimes I'll ram retards/noobs/baserapers/people I just don't like with the blackhawk...either that or I'll strap 5 C4 on the front and seatswitch to the 4th position as I get right next to a vehicle and detonate. Reusable chopper bomb with ff off >

Other than the blackhawk, nothing else is worth ramming into anything. Ramming takes no skill, but I don't complain about it. If they wanna ram, I say let them ram. There are plenty of other servers to go play on.

Re: why is ramming so shunned in this game?

The only time I've ever tolerated ramming was in league play (whether that's CAL, 3FL, TWL or any other competitive platform), the reason being that once I would take out the opposing heli(s), the match would basically be over unless their jet(s) rammed me out of the sky to let theirs get up. It's still annoying as f*ck, but it's understandable...

Pubs don't really have organized teamplay, so I find it hard to believe that someone would ram me in order to benefit his team... as if that's what he had in mind when it occured. I'm not saying it's impossible, just highly improbable.

Erm, point 3 of ShadowMafia's "tome".
Surely if something/someone is "trained" and therefore has received "training" then that person/item has some degree of "skill" ?

                  hmm?

Opinions cannot be wrong, and you cannot tell someone they are a retard because you do not agree with them.

EDIT: wtf? I swear this message was on a different page... >_>

In cars = OK and funny.

Otherwise is just lame because you can shoot them down in jet/chopper.

Except for blackhawk, blackhawk = funny

There is such a thing as an uninformed opinion, which might as well be considered wrong because it hasn't been thought out properly. :)
