Re: why is ramming so shunned in this game?
Wow, it looks like there are pretty strong opinions both ways on this! :laugh:
Personally, I don't like Jihad Jeeps or intentional ramming so I just play on servers, including my own clans that don't allow it!
There are plenty of servers out there and if you look, you should be able to find one that administors the game to your liking. Most well run servers make their rules quite clear so there really isn't much to debate, just go to the server that most closely suits your style of play.:) :)
I did think the Japanese Kamakazi argument was a bit comical if not uninformed. The tactic came into use near the end of the war when most of the experienced pilots were dead and really didn't have much of an impact at all. It was a tactic born of desperation.
The argument that ramming is better than just conceding to a superior pilot strikes me as a loser way of looking at things! I am a Coach as my game name implies and I would encourage someone to attempt to battle the better pilot fairly. The only way to improve is to take on someone better than you are IMO of course!
