It's pretty convenient. But once I click "Play" it says " bf2 " is not a recognised protocol. How does it ole up with BF2? Where have I done wrongly? Thanks!

Updated my filter set again. Added Armored Fury maps, and did the Pure Server thing again. You can now find unranked servers running all unlocks (to check them), you can find unpure servers (without verifying client data). I also added an option to find server running Co-Op.

My advice is though, to only enable the things you really want filtered and never filter something ON and OFF, just keep it disabled in that case. This safes a lot of bandwith and CPU use.

Ok i love qtracker.....

I cant seem to add my clans server. Its not on the server list. When I go to fav/new/server...... then enter the IP and port all i get is 'New server' in my server list. it recognises it as a BF2 sever but it wont refresh the server and i cant join the server either.

By the way 'favs' is a folder i created. Am i missing somthing here or am I trying to add my server the wrong way.

Incase its server specific the i.p is 85.133.16.47:16607

yea i was doing it all wrong. It worked fine when i searched for the server, then viewed the server and clicked the 'add to folder' button on the left hand side.

I couldnt find the server when i searched by ip and port......but once found the port showed up wrong as 29900 or somthing. i guess thats the query port?

Been looking at the qtracker forums, that ron guy is awesome. We need more people in the software industry like him!

hi with qtracker how do i make it only show servers that are ranked or ping under 200, or punkbuster enabled or by country etc like ase

Great work Sauron, well comprehensive filter set

Quite like this program, not as much as i like ASE right enough, but since ASE is gubbed its a worthy alternative when you sort out the initial configiration, namelly, stopping the update and getting your name right (case sensitive ) in auto login.

Piece of **** to make mod filters also, which is well good for any new ones that come in.

Think it can only get better with the dev being so responsive.

When is the port going to be fixed in qtracker? It reports and copies the query port so you get a failure when you try to join for servers running non-standard hostports.

Also - the server refresh/ping method could use some streamlining. Like separate the server refresh and ping into separate buttons but make it configurale so that both can happen at once. The filters are nice, though.

The SF mapshots are in my pack. (see my sig). someone has EF and AF mapshots availible over at the qtracker forums.

the port isssue is fixed in the next release due end of next week. the refresh..... you might want to request that in the qtracker forums.
