ok... I can get into the program, see all the servers, click on connect, and it will fire off BF2... but it wont log me in at all... and after logging in I just sit at the main logged on screen of BF2... Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Qtracker is case sensitive on usernames and passwords, make sure you've put it in the right way. It took me ages to sort out and all because of a captial G

Has anybody confirmed if the reversion mentioned in today's Community Update breaks QTracker?

If so, I'm sure a new version will be released imminently.

Ok tested qtracker now: it's a great server-browser! Much better than Ase

qtracker has just been screwed by EA turning back the query port but the good news is the coder of qtracker thinks he can put a fix out tonight

what the hell, ASE was one of the few programs i've ever paid for and its dead? i bought a lifetime licence

if its just bf2 that they cant be arsed to support then i couldnt give a toss lol as long as new games get added it shouldnt be too much of a problem.

if EA reverts its servers back to the old query scheme, there's a good chance ASE will work again.

Yahoo! has pulled ALL programmers off of the ASE project..so ASE will NEVER be updated again for any current game nor will it support any future games.

But great for those who don't want to install any software. Especially with the bf2:// protocol working.
