A Steam page went live this past weekend.

2023 has been dubbed "the year of Payday 3" from the game's developers at Overkill Software. The next installment of this cooperative heist-focused franchise looks like it may finally be released this year. The news came alongside a new Steam page for Payday 3 that went live over the weekend.

The page includes a short teaser video (seen below) showing off some fireworks going off over New York while some shadowy figures...

The heist game will take place in a "living, enormous representation" of the Big Apple.

Starbreeze Studios and Overkill Software revealed some fresh new information for Payday 3during a recent Payday 10th anniversary stream this past weekend. Payday 3 is set to take place in the Big Apple, otherwise known as New York City. Game director Erik Wonnevi says that it will take place in a "living, enormous representation" of the city.

This June, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 owners will get to rob banks with the best of them when Payday 2: Crimewave Edition is released. The Crimewave Edition will include essentially every piece of DLC released for the PC version of the game. According to Steam, that's over $110 (USD) worth of DLC so far.

Beyond that, those who pre-order the game will get a 25% discount and will get bonus DLC in the form of the Hard Time Loot Bag.
