They haven't changed the invisible DEAD tags yet. Oh well, it's just a beta, I'm sure they'll come around.

I guess I will have to start writing the complaints.

Why update CS anyway? 1.5 is close to perfection, and in 1.6 they just slaughter counter-strike.

also take a look at this site. news is slowing down, the only thing that's continuing is e-sports. Counter-Strike, like ALL other games, would go the route of extension if it weren't for its constant updates. It's what keeps CS alive. Even if the changes are for better or for worse it's what draws new people and keeps many of the old people playing. Quake 3 is the same now pretty much as it was the day it was released, and look how many people are playing that still. What 500 active servers? There are something like 20,000 activate CS servers.



However if CS 1.5 was the last version that number would continue to drop as people became bored of playing the same game. The updates are the reason we have been playing this damn game for 4 years now.

Anyways...1.6 sucks i just like the new weapons and the friends list thing oh yea and why did they changed like the stats of weapons(Glock being way more powerful than 1.6,AK-47 is becoming WAY worst,etc) and also those gay menus(b,3,1 to buy a TMP?!)
