For me, it says the game is updating and the little steam icon in the bottom says "steam-working". I assume this is the new update.

Not to bash Steam, but I think Valve should give up with all these attempted innovative ideas and just focus their efforts on games.

mine is not updating i can see what is supposed to be updated in properties but i haven't downloaded anythin...

It'll probably happen on Friday, if not sometime next week in the traditional Tuesday/Wednesday release slot. The previous update had 3/3 on the changelog but was released on 3/4.

Yeah, I opened up CS and it wouldn't update. So I reinstalled Steam and tried again. Still no upate. Then I checked back here and saw "Looks like the update is not rolling out."



Oh boy, oh boy.

rizzuh is NOT lying. It's on the update news when you see the properties on Counter-Strike. Only thing is, it's not updated. I deleted my whole Counter-strike files and re-downloading it, see if this works.



I'm glad they fixed the shield. That bullet penetration problem seemed to make shield useless in the field. Nobody really used it.
