WARG! they posted this news too soon. steam isnt updating at all. theres nothing new yet. i want to see the new knife and hear the new galil sounds, the current ones suck.

they put the update in the change log under the game properties, but they arent here yet.

I'm still wondering what the 1.6 mode csnation was supposedly in was all about. If it was about a beta update, that's just shat. I mean, don't get me wrong, beta testing is vital, but come on now, get my hopes up and then just crapping on them.

I just tried CS 1.6b on Steam and it didn't update..

aside from the obvious implementation of bots..



· New knife model - cool

· Famas and Galil sounds redone - good, the galil sound is kinda yuck

· Bullet ricochet sounds redone - hope they're more realistic

· Added hearts and spades to friends minigames - um...

· Re-implemented ability to uparrow through console command history - small but useful

Yeah, I played it and something is wrong. The knife looks the same, I cant find the bots, the Glail and FAMAS sound the same, and it doesn't seem like VAC is working (re: headshots through walls). It dowloaded a bunch of stuff before it loaded, but I dont know what's up. I even had to reinstall cshelper because the update wiped it out. > The change log says exactly what rizzuh said, btw.
