That's what we're interested in knowing. Is it harder to track planes now given the field of view "degrees" is much lower.

When you get a chance, would be interested in finding out how you do with a F35/stingers.
Like I said, in Air to Air combat it had absolutely no effect on me and I didn't even notice it. Perhaps the field of view was that retardedly big in 1.2, but it is still very big and far too easy IMO. I'm talking about planes, but since stingers are the same field of view I suppose I'm talking about stingers as well.

Should be notched down at maybe 10 to make it comparable to aiming an actual gun or AT rocket.

The 45 degress is not YOUR lock field of view. it is the missles field of view ONCE IT IS LAUNCHED.

Most importantly nothing has been done to balance the J-10, DICE needs to wake up and address that issue.
Why do you care? You fly the J10 way more than any other plane so why are you crying?

Anyway, just from looking at the numbers, AA will probably be avoidable without flares.

Well, EA and DICE never seem to get the accuracy of some weapons right...

          Oh wel -_-

So basicaly it's easier to hit targets if you aim in the middle of the lock

and harder to hit them now than before if you aim on the edge of the lock?

            am i right? probobly not

Ahhhhh ok I see, I was thinking "Hmm, 45 degrees is an odd way to explain that".

                  DAMN....dude, are you serious?

If that is true... finally F-35B whores (like me) have a better chance against J-10's!

im always at 750-900ft in the bomber doing like 1400mph!!!

no, the j10 will be faster than the f35 if you are flying at the same height. speeds are the same as always and have not been touched!

I just finshed 6 rounds in a row on 64 player servers, spent the entire duration in a plane.
                          My observations:
                          1) Ground AA still hits every single time barring a missile malfunction or flares.
                          That is all.
Hmm i noticed the oppisite, I tried sitting in the carrier AA and i couldn't get a single kill on all the enemy jets flying past. Out of 8 missiles, and without them even dropping flares i would be lucky to have 1 missile hit. With the 1.2 patch it was more likely for at least two missiles to hit. Also had an enemy chopper hover rather closely attacking the carrier deck, i had a straight view at him and even locked on all 8 missiles missed. Had to take him out with the guns.

So your saying it's unbalanced again? Now it's back to pilots having a 40 to 1 kill to death ratio.
