you can the enemy with one head shot with the PKM.

Unarmored targets take three shots and armored targets take four shots.

He was obviously lucky to have some headshots. There were obviously many medics around (Not armored).

I guess ya missed it Duck... There's the question remaining as to whether or not PKM rounds are armour penatrating. They punch through fences and stuff just like the M95, so that may well be the case.

If so, it's 3 rounds to drop anyone.

As mentioned, I haven't had a good chance to test this to make 100% sure.

That is ridiculous how powerful that rifle is. Using it is almost unfair.

Now if you'll excuse me I have to go whore the PKM on Mashtuur. Thanks for the tip!!!

Its bullet type is Bullet_Small_Arms which is the same as the type of bullets used in the pistol (different damage). no weapon in the game ignores body armor including the M95. Its three rounds to drop a medic and four rounds to drop an assault guy.

I dissagree with you there, imo it's people like you that whore stuff, like planes (actually whoring better than nymph street whores ) that got C4, planes & helis nerfed. The old BH is also a prime example of a thing that was nerfed just for the sake of the BF2 spirit/balance.

Dear PlaneWhore, I feel that the truth is that people that play like you are the retarded ofspring of this game and it would be a better game without you and your likes.

As a friendly tips, get a new account and dont come here as a well known game whore - it seriously wont get you anywhere in most discussions. you know what I mean...

As a side note, is there any aviator games, that you as a pilot, is looking forward too? Or maybe even some FPS? please do tell

Actually, the M95 causes the same damage to armoured an unarmoured targets. This, I've tested (been shot by M95s many times). Armoured or not, you are left with 2 bars of health if you take an M95 round to the body.

This is not true of the M24.

The M95 also punches through fences and armoured glass.

The PKM is the only other small arm that will go through a fence (not sure about windows, tho).

There is a flag of some type that gives the AP property to M95s. I'm thinking it may well be the same property for the PKM.

Has anyone tried TKing for a plane while packing an PKM?

My bad! I actually know that and wanted to say it but somehow got confused. Yes the M95 ignores body armor. Actually the M95 has different type of bullets in the game (not Bullet_Small_Arms but Bullet50Caliber)
The M24 has Bullet_Small_Arms so it does not ignore body armor.

I see nothing wrong with you tactic. You found a good place and harassed an enemy. They were stupid in not locating you and killing you.

If I died once on that courtyard I would have gotten a sniper and located you. Then reported to everyone over the Voice comm and then started to hunt you, my estimate is that you would die in 30 seconds max. Last resort would be commander with arti strike. But hey, you have to be lucky sometimes and you were :)

I just verified it. it takes 4 shots to kill armored target.

going by his vid it shows it not being 4 shots. Unless everyother shot was a head shot

                        Someone make a vid

2 people using pkm to show damage with it.. take like 5minutes? Cant really go by anything ea says..

Many people play as engineers or medics or spec ops and snipers. those take three shots only. Assault and AT and Support need 4. He got few kill damage assists and that explains it. No need for a video here I think. We are not trying to prove some as controversial as a tank one shot kill! Go and try it yourself in a server if you still need more proof of that... just that easy. He definitely got few head shots.

Well he must of had a lot then. Beacuse I also saw anti tank dying with 3 shots. Some meds with 2 shots but there was some 4 shot kills but they could of had med packs or anything like that.

I dont play support much.. played some rounds with the new pkm and was getting 2-3 shot kills.. but probably not many people play AT anymore beacuse of the bug.. Ill try it out again i guess. A vid would of been better beacuse you cant go by someones word

Yep, in full agreement with PlaneWhore here - the PKM is an overpowered monster gun when standing, crouched or prone. It's flat out better than the assault rifles and the only time it loses accuracy is when you try to move and fire (strafe). For full abuse potential, take a perch in one of the Karkand alleys and mow away to your heart's content.

This to me is the worst thing about 1.2.

SPeaking of the Karkand alley camping tactic, as a US support I recently had a kill streak of 26-0 in the alley beside the Hotel before I eventually got killed. Not pleasant gaming for the defending MEC team, but it just goes to show the current power of the PKM (and I suppose MG36).
