Hardly. The F2000 absolutely ROCKS. Best assault gun yet, hands down.

Honestly, both of the AK variants wipe the floor with it.

I was 99% sure about not buying the expansion, and then I found out that I can't unlock the SCAR-H in regular BF2. Now I'm at 100%.

Can you still use the tier 1 unlocks even though you unlock tier 2 from SF. So if I unlock the f2000 i can still use the G3 if i wanted to right?

I had 5 unlocks in BF2 as a GySgt, then SF gave me 3 unlocks.
You can only unlock an SF gun for a kit if you have the BF2 unlock for that kit.
There's no SF unlocks for Sniper or Anti-Tank.

The MP7 is awesome. It's rapid fire and accurate as heck. One burst to the head will send a slew of bullets at em with hardly any deviation. That thing is a headshot-makin machine. The ironsights is also way more better than the MP5.

The pistol is more accurate while zooming (right click). it has almost the same damage as the mp7. if you can kill with one head shot using the mp7 then it is definitly easier to do that with the pistol. The only reason why someone may unlock the mp7 is if he does not like the shotguns in general. Also notice that the mp5 (which sux!) has a higher fire power because of the higher fire rate. Since I have enough experience with the mp5 and since the mp7 has less fire power than the mp5 then i think it is very safe to say that the mp7 is not a better alternative to the engineer's unlock shotgun.

MP7 works well in single shot mode for long range shots, but it's pretty sub-par up close. Ultimately it depends on the kind of Engineer you prefer to play.

Already said it on another thread: Some values in the chart are incorrect, it also doesn´t take into account if the gun is scoped or not, so it´s hardly a fair comparison. We´ll see in the next weeks which weapons have the potential to be used in a "overpowering way". The FN2000/assault kit surely is my candidate for this.
If you want to see raw stats I suggest looking into the game files yourself, it´s pretty interesting how side/upwards recoil and the deviations differ.

ahh but it does take into account whether or not the gun is scoped. The F2000 will finally give the assualt kit the punch it really needed. I mean the AK-47 and 101 still do great damage but the f2000 is actuate and has nade launcher capabilities.

So if you have an unlock already for the other kits do you automatically get the chance to unlock something for that kit in SF (except for Sniper and AT)?
