We invited [BSF] Nastie_Butler along with [BSF] Nexar onto to our TS server to talk about the incident. What can I say but stand up guys. Impressed with [BSF] Nastie_Butler, he had no hestitation in admitting to it and not only that apologising for his actions. That goes along way in my books.

Also impressed with the post he made about it as well.

As far as we are concerned the incident has been resolved. They got the message that that type of griefing, tk'ing for vehicles is not welcomed or permitted on our server and will be dealt with harshly. We have since unbanned him and welcomed him and all the [BSF] guys back to play on our server.

how does he play then? I've played a few rounds with him on karkand, a pretty good teamworker, i dont see problems.

At the time he was co-piloting in the bomber, all round.

Both sides of this issue displayed great maturity and are a fantatic model to follow.

Tangent: Have you R2 folks thought about putting together a flick from all those .demo files? It could be really something with all the great action I've seen. If it's well done, it would be a great way to promote the server too.

I've got a clip from there that includes the perfect way to handle the BH on Mash.

Yeah thats a good idea. Some of the teamwork on our server is insane. When you get a number of squads all working together with the commander it would make a great vid. Like today had a game on Operation cleansweep on the MEC side. We took all the flags back then kept the USMC stuck in their main. The game was over very quickly and it showed which side all worked together as a team. It was then fun destroying anything that attempted to cross the water.:laugh: Also managed to sneak a few knifings in some thats always good.

Again had another great 2 rounds on Mastuur. In a good squad with some {pdx} guys along with [BSF] Vengeance. The teamwork again was awesome and would make a great vid. Communication between everyone was excellent, we all had our roles to play, that would also make a great vid.

When I get time I'll check out some of the BR demos and see what we can come up with along the lines of teamwork.

The Raging Rebels server seems great! Good players not using cheap methods, really cool! However, I got kicked for high ping, then when I signed back on (because typically my ping is VERY low, usually the 2nd lowest in any given server) I checked and it seemed that everyone's ping rates were extremely high, as in well over 250 for almost everyone. Is this typical of this server? OTherwise a great experience!

It depends on the time that you tried to connect to the server, we do get a large number of people playing on there that are connecting from other countries.When this happens we can have alot of players with pings of over 250. We have the server set to auto kick for a constant high ping of 307 and over. Where are you from?

I reside in Los Angeles, CA. That might explain it! :) Although there have been times where my ping to your server is in the low 40's I'll keep checking in and see how it goes.

Let us know if you still have probs, I wouldnt have thought your ping would have been over 307. Im from Australia and mine sits at 200 steady. Agian, if you find the ping is still the same, let us know so we can look into it.

LOL, that's more knife kills than total kills I have with any one class in the game! Do you just use the knife for everything?

Most people like to shoot, if I see someone I'll hunt them down

And always playing on a full 64 person server helps.

Been knifing since BF1942. I've gone rounds with just using my knife. I don't run around with it out....just a quick switch while coming up behind someone. I made a fraps video, but fraps drops my fram rate down to much. So I don't like to use it much.

OMG 1900+ knife kills. Bows, I am not worthy! Glad you like the vids they were a lot of fun making them. I like to spend some rounds just playing knife only. I won't run around with my gun at all only trusty knife in hand ready to go. It makes it all the more satisfying when others are shooting at you and you run up and stab them, especially more than 1 person all shooting at you at once. Yeah we liked to knife in BFV also.

I'm not happy now unless I get my knife fix each round. Even if its only 1 knifing I like to try and get some in each round. Why shoot someone when you can knife them I say.

Pity your server didn't have BR because I'm sure you could make a great knifing vid also. My PC bogs down too much also with fraps thats why I made mine from BR footage.

I have checked our server and all is well. At the time there were a lot of low pingers 20 and lower and some high pingers up to 250 but server was smooth/lag free as ever.

By any chance do you have Comcast or cable in general? It may be at peak times there are too many hooked up to your local router and that will cause your ping to increase dramatically.

Ya know... I was thinking that it could be a seriously cool thing to have two sets of video series captured from R2.

Tales of Vallor and Tales of Woe

ToV vids would feature outstanding team efforts 'n general "coolnessity".
ToW would be all about the f-Tards that have been caught and banned for doing F-tardy things.

Produce like one every couple weeks 'n I'm sure you'd get people swinging by your site to keep checkin 'em out...

Thats a good idea especially the ToW idea. Believe me we would never run out of a lack of footage same with the ToV idea, also plenty of footage there too. I'll have to spend some time viewing some BR files to see what I can come up with. You never know if you are in a good squad using excellent teamwork, you may be featured in a ToW vid, however if you want to be F'tard you may also become notorious for all the wrong reasons. :laugh:
