While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.

If you want a server where people will stick around, find a way to post your server's rules before people connect to save them the time of connecting, reading your rules, and being subjugated to the rediculous ones. Ever connect to the "we'll ban you if we think you're hacking" servers? That's an advertisement of an immature (read: not socially mature instead of not phsyically mature) admin.
Our rules are all in the welcome message. Nobodies pc loads that fast that they can't read them in time. They are also broadcast over the server as annoucements, they are also in this thread and lastly they are on our site in the forums. Think we have that angle covered

I would just like to make a formal apology to [BSF] Nexar who got kicked from our server on incorrect information from a trusted party. I have spoken to him after this but I thought it appropriate to also make a formal apology to him on here to say it was an incorrect decision made on our behalf. I was told he was camping the carrier but was not told that they had all the flags and its well within our rules to do that.
So once again we apologise for this decision, like I said it was based from information from a trusted party on our server however it turned out to be incorrect.
We have the battle recorder file for you also Nexar if you want to get into contact with us we will pass it on to you. He had a killer game so I hear and if you do make a movie out of it make sure you send us the link

Seems I may have been a little hasty though in making an apology and here's why. I haven't yet reviewed the battle recorder footage of this particular incidence with [BSF] Nexar so I need some more time to review this and at this stage my apology still stands till I review the BR footage.
However I have Battle Recorder proof that [BSF] Nastie_Butler a high ranking BF2 player tk'ed 3 times in a row for a plane. I will cut together the BR footage of these incidents for all to see. After I apologised for this incident with [BSF] Nexar I may have been a little hasty because we also had another problem with another [BSF] guy tking for vehicles. [BSF] Cambodian I have not yet reviewed that BR footage either but it was reported to me he also tk'ed for vehicles.
Like I said I have undisputable BR footage proof of [BSF] Nastie_Bulter blantanly tking for a plane 3 times in a row. Please wait for me to cut all this footage together tonight. Stay tuned I will post this info here for all to see as well as posting this footage to EA to review.
What people seem to forget is our Battle Recorder works. This means we can review incidents like these and have undisputable proof, of which we have against [BSF] Nastie_Butler. Other [BSF] players are now being reviewed after I finish this post so stay tuned.
Please don't think you can get away with this type of griefing, bad sportmanship type of play on our server because it "will" come back to bite you. Not only has [BSF] Nastie_Butler broken the EULA but now he is going to have to pay the consequences of his actions. He will be reported to EA with the footage I am cutting together, as well as the full BR footage of these games.
Remember this if a single clan member of any clan acts in a manner like [BSF] Nastie_Butler it reflects badly on the "whole clan" We will take no hesitation in punishing the whole clan for a single members actions. We have a line up a mile long of people trying to play on our server and we will not put up with this type of behaviour to our guests. Remember its a privledge to play on our server not your right! Until I hear from the clan leader of [BSF] they will not be welcome to play on our server.

In my opinion BF2 servers are full of non-microphone using dolts who don't have a clue as to what teamwork and communication is.
They scramble for vehicles they can't use and jealously undermine better players with various tactics.
After playing for quite a while one gets numb to this and accepts it as part of the game. This has bred a mentality, at least in my own mind, that there are three factions playing BF2 in any game.
1 The opposite team...who should be destroyed.
2 Your own team members who you dont know...who should be avoided and casually destroyed.
3 The people you know and play with...who should be respected.
The anarchy that exists in unmonitored servers exacerbates this. The servers that are monitored are usually admined by tempermental egotisical and prejudiced types that tolerate this behaviour from their own ranks while banning others or even worse....banning those that follow the rules and are just much better than they are.
Now comes this server....Raging Rebels....run unlike any server I have ever experienced and this says a lot since I have been around the BF2 block.
These guys through their sound judgement, hardwork, and technical know-how have put any organization striving to create a BF2 utopia to shame.
Fast, fair and decisive action by the Raging Rebels crew let me know that the "usual" bad behaviour we all complain about is not tolerated there.
They self-proclaimed watchdogs of all that is BF2, BF2 Ranked Servers, should take a page from their book. Maybe they should buy the book.

how does he play then? I've played a few rounds with him on karkand, a pretty good teamworker, i dont see problems.

Yes I do play pretty heavy on the teamwork side. And that is what draws me to tk a times oddly enough. It's usually to keep a squad that communicates well together. There is always a "smurf" jumping into vehicles especially when they see something working well.
I am guilty as charged.
The way those Raging guys run their server the smurfs would actually communicate and understand that you are trying to stay together and leave you alone. There will be no need to tk because you will be working with your team and not against them.

Wow butler... I gotta say I'm impressed.
You're displaying a very mature attitude to all this. It takes balls to fess up and say "yup, I did it" and not make any excuses. The world would be a better place if more people could do this.
I know the temptation to TK idiots all to well.
I recall once being in a squad were only one other guy was using a mic. We ended up in an attack helo and doing some serious damage. We got shot down and when we respawned, there was someone from our own squad camping the chopper's respawn. I asked him what he thought he was doing since obviously he could hear our communications and knew full well that we were being effective. No answer. Chopper respawns and he gets in. Neither my former gunner or myself would take the gun seat because we were more than a little irritated. He took off and got shot down almost right away.
He respawns and comes running over to the pad.
Me: "Jeez dude. You really suck, hu?"
Former gunner: "Hehe"
Me: "Dude, just back off. Give us the chopper please."
Former Gunner: "Yeah. Be a team player and let us do some damage"
Idiot: nothing
Me: "Look, BACK OFF! You knew what we were doing and you're just being an idiot"
Idiot: presses the negitive button 5 times
Me: "Ok. I think I should kill him. What do you think?"
Former Gunner: "yeah... unless you want me to do it"
Me: "Ok bud, last chance. GET LOST or get DEAD!"
Idiot: types "F:censored:k you"
*Knife*
*Thud*
Idiot starts a vote to kick me while we fly away with the chopper.
This is the only time I've ever TKed for a vehicle. Glad to say it wasn't on the R2 server either.

This is also true.
I was playing there the other night with 3 clan guys (they weren't R2, but were cool anyway). They were big on using the attack choppers and as soon as I joined and started talking, the 3rd man asked me to gun for him. Since I tend to spend more time flying than gunning I warned him that I'm not that great with the TV guided missiles. He said no problem, he spends more time as a gunner and wanted to practice his flying. We were busy giving each other tips left right and center. My TV guided skills improved dramaticly and his flying skills noticably improved too.
